Thanks for everything.
In early July I was talking about “needing someone to kick me in the butt regarding exercise”. I needed something. I was running 3-5 times a week with no significant scale or clothing size progress. ! I then heard about an exercise boot camp in Lacey. I “googled” boot camp and ended up finding Robert and Lacey Boot Camp. I look back to how I was feeling in July and how I feel now and the change is dramatic. Boot camp has given me more than I could ask for. I can walk throughout downtown Seattle and not feel winded, I can walk up a flight of stairs (which I am required to do for work) and not be embarrassed that I am struggling for air once I arrive. I am still a thin woman trapped in a “fluffy” body, but the changes I have made and the results my body are displaying make me proud of what I am doing. This is my fourth camp, yes, it is a bit expensive, but worth every penny of it. If I weren’t spending money on boot camp, I would “nickel and dime away” the same amount of money in the same amount of time on junk hoping for a we! ight loss miracle. Progress for me is slow and steady – ye t it is progress. I was worried that each camp would be the same. I am pleasantly surprised to say it isn’t so. Robert is constantly working to add variety to camp activities and e-mail motivators. I have and will continue to recommend this program to anyone I meet.

I also want to thank YOU for the inspiration that you are! My self-confidence at home and at work has improved 100%, and it is only the 3rd day! After my foot surgery, I put on pounds that were completely unwelcome, and began to feel quite depressed – when I heard about your boot camp from Pat. I knew this would be a transformative experience, but I never dreamed by how much!
You are a joy, and a gift, (and a taskmaster) – and I look forward to completing this journey and continuing the level of dedication that you have modeled for us all!

I guess I will start by saying that I am one of the "big girls" in the 5:30 am class. I am very proud of myself for doing this. I came in with no one else, being one of the biggest girls there was intimidating, but I overcame. I said screw it, if they want to look at me while I jiggle around, then so be it, I am here for a reason. I am a very strong woman...I have a lot to offer someone, and I have always felt that the only thing missing is my weight issue. For many years, I have always blamed others, like well if they would just overlook the fat, they would see what a wonderful strong sexy woman I am...now that I am single again after 12 years, I have realized that most people do not give you that chance if the outer package is not there...so I decided to make a change. Your boot camp has given the kick in the butt (literally) that I needed. I feel I can do anything now. I have a tons more energy, I stopped drinking energy drinks in the afternoon and I have started to quit smoking as well...one more week and I should be smoke free. But it has also made me realize that I needed to handle every aspect of my life differently...I am way more positive now, I hold my head up high, I walk a little taller...when people say what a difference they can see in me, it's not just physical, it's my attitude as well.
I do have to say, I want to thank you for not approaching me too often asking if I am all right, because, not only do look fat, but I am a sweater and a red face...so many classes prior to yours have actually stopped the class to see if I am all right...I hate that. I know what my body can do, and so again, I appreciate the fact that you have not done that. I feel like I am really pushing myself in your class, I love it, I love the burn...I love the fact that I get to tell the ladies at work and all the soldiers I see how sore I am everyday! I love comparing what we do to the soldier's PT, their PT test's etc. In fact, they had a PT test the same day we did, and we compared times...it was great! I just really want to say thank you so much for starting this program, and I hope you never get rid of it or the early morning class. I am actually excited to get measured after this session is over! I know I am shrinking, and toning...I am not sure about weight loss, because I refuse to step on a scale until measurement day, but things fit different! So on that note, I best be getting in the shower, so I am not late to work...and thanks again!

I give the camp a 10. I am not in the greatest shape… You are very patient and tell us to push ourselves (yet, not at the expense of hurting ourselves). I walk after each session feeling tired, a little sore but certainly rejuvenated. It has been a long time since I’ve attended a gym. I have forgotten a lot but I am remaining positive. I have limited mobility in my right shoulder, but I still push myself. As a result, I have more range of motion (in just 4 days!!!!). I am so pleased. I sleep really well now, too. Robert’s camp is everything I expected and more.

The workouts have been intense and required me to push myself further. I feel really good by the end of class, exhausted but energized. I am becoming stronger and more able to sustain longer during each exercise. I feel awful if I miss a day. I didn’t expect I’d be a repeat Camper, but it is such an all encompassing workout with a great group of women.

Robert, camp has exceeded my expectations. Your constant positive motivation and contact through email has been very encouraging. Camp is a great way to start the day. I am pushing myself as hard as I can. You have provided great tools and you continue to motivate us while we do exercises. You push us really hard and I always get a great workout. Thank you for all of your support and guidance. Although you have a lot of camps, you make it as individual as possible. You are very supportive and encouraging.

Waking up as early as I do kinda sucks, but I like working my muscles in the morning. I am not sure if I have ever used so many different muscle groups in one week. I put 100% on the table and do my best each day. I like the variety of exercises we do. I have quit previous workouts because of boredom of doing the same thing over and over. I love coming to class. I feel refreshed and motivated to make the best of the rest of the day.
With a military background, I was afraid that the exercising/workout would be the same ole same ole each day. After reading the may testimonials on the website about how much fun the camp was, I figured I would give it a try. I like the music (it takes my mind off the time and the task). I like how I am motivated and encouraged in a positive way.
